What Is the Green Eggs & Hams Net?
The Green Eggs and Hams Net was started back in 2021 by a couple of teens from the Naples, NY area โ Max WT2A and Joseph KD2VYT. What began as a youth-led initiative has grown into a well-loved weekly gathering for hams of all ages across Western New York.
Whether you're a newly licensed Technician or an Extra with decades behind the mic, everyone is welcome to check in. The net runs on the Ragchew Net Repeater and Node System, connecting operators across a wide coverage area of Western New York.
The format is relaxed and conversational โ no formal traffic, no rigid structure. Just good hams having good conversations. You will like it, Sam-I-Am.

Net Biography
The Green Eggs and Hams Net was started back in 2021 by a couple of teens from the Naples, NY area โ Max WT2A and Joseph KD2VYT. What began as a youth-led initiative has grown into a well-loved weekly gathering for hams of all ages across Western New York.
The net runs on the Ragchew Net Repeater and Node System, providing wide-area coverage that connects operators from across the region. The node system allows check-ins from a variety of linked repeaters, making participation accessible to operators far and wide.
Over the years the net has grown into a welcoming community where newly licensed hams get their first on-air experience and veteran operators share knowledge and stories. Topics range from equipment discussions and DX reports to local events and anything else on operators' minds.
